That philosophy drives everything about how he runs his one-man operation out of Ukiah. He's not trying to sell you something you don't need, and he's not going to power through a surprise problem and quietly add it to your bill. If something unexpected turns up mid-job — what he calls 'the famous ghost problems' — he stops, tells you what he found, and gives you the choice to continue or step back and reassess. That kind of transparency is rare, and locals in Ukiah, Redwood Valley, and across Mendocino County have noticed. Word of mouth has spread pretty far, he says, and he's got the references to back it up.

On price, he keeps it straightforward. While handyman rates in the area can swing anywhere from $20 to $100 an hour, he lands in the $35–$50 range — and he's upfront that he wants to be in and out efficiently. 'I don't want to be in your home any longer than you want me to be,' he says.
